We had a red sox baby shower for a Mom who is a true Red Sox fan! We were able to hand make everything using the cricut and some imagination!! We decided to do ballpark food. We had pretzels, popcorn, chips, and some other goodies. Since we are located near Boston, we had plenty of people to borrow red sox decorations from.
This was the fabulous invitation we made. They took a lot of time but turned out cute. The buttons were made with a stamp.
For the cake, I made a baseball mit and covered it with fondant. I found a plastic baby and hand painted him in a red sox uniform.
We covered all the tables with fake grass....I got it at a hardware store for almost nothing. We set up all the tables like a baseball diamond. Each table was labeled as a base. First base was the drinks.
2nd base was the cake table.
3rd base was the gifts.
This was the setup by the entrance to the party. I even found a baseball frame in the dollar aisle to place an ultrasound picture in.
The "guestbook" was a baseball that the party goers could sign. It was a huge hit.
Instead of goodie bags, everyone was given some crackerjacks to take home.
