We had a red sox baby shower for a Mom who is a true Red Sox fan! We were able to hand make everything using the cricut and some imagination!! We decided to do ballpark food. We had pretzels, popcorn, chips, and some other goodies. Since we are located near Boston, we had plenty of people to borrow red sox decorations from.
This was the fabulous invitation we made. They took a lot of time but turned out cute. The buttons were made with a stamp.
For the cake, I made a baseball mit and covered it with fondant. I found a plastic baby and hand painted him in a red sox uniform.
We covered all the tables with fake grass....I got it at a hardware store for almost nothing. We set up all the tables like a baseball diamond. Each table was labeled as a base. First base was the drinks.
2nd base was the cake table.
3rd base was the gifts.
This was the setup by the entrance to the party. I even found a baseball frame in the dollar aisle to place an ultrasound picture in.
The "guestbook" was a baseball that the party goers could sign. It was a huge hit.
Instead of goodie bags, everyone was given some crackerjacks to take home.
We are a team of two who love to plan unique, amazing parties! It all started with a one year old's bee party. We had so much fun that we decided to plan parties for other people. The Party Bees was born!

Bee birthday party
This was our first official party was a bee 1st birthday party. We had so much fun planning this party that we have gone on to plan other parties together. We were not able to find "bee" things so we made all of the decorations. We used our paper cutter and went to town!!

The table setup for the party. The vases were filled with yellow and black candy for guests to take home. We took some boxes and wrapped them with yellow paper to add some height.

Since it was first birthday party, a bee smash cake was made. I used fondant and icing. The wings were made out of gumpaste.

We made our own tissue paper balls to hang on the ceiling. They were so easy to make. It was only a matter of layering and cutting paper.

Guests were also given honey sticks. They were a huge hit! I found them online. I wrapped them with small bees.
